How do I know my garden will be safe?

We take garden safety seriously. All users must verify their identity before booking, and you can review guest profiles and intended use before accepting bookings. Our platform also includes GardenGuard protection, which covers damages up to £1,000. You can set clear house rules and boundaries for each booking.

 

Gardens can be booked for a wide range of events including photography sessions, small gatherings, outdoor yoga classes, painting workshops, and more. As a garden owner, you can specify which types of events are permitted in your space. Some common uses include:

  • Photography and filming
  • Small celebrations
  • Outdoor activities and classes
  • Nature retreats
  • Pop-up dining experiences
 

Payments are processed securely through our platform. When a guest books your garden, the payment is held securely until 24 hours after the booking is completed. This ensures that both parties fulfill their responsibilities. Garden owners receive payments directly to their linked bank account, with a platform fee of 10% deducted from each booking.

Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both garden owners and guests:

  • Cancellations made by guests more than 7 days before the booking receive a full refund
  • Cancellations made 3-7 days before receive a 50% refund
  • Cancellations less than 3 days before receive no refund

For garden owners, repeated cancellations may affect your listing visibility. We understand that emergencies happen, but we encourage reliable hosting.
